KEITH HERMAN BAND, 'She's Got A Whole Number' b/w 'She's A Cruiser' (Twin Bull, 1978)
HEY! Y'ALL NEGROES LIKE SNIFF 'N' THE TEARS???!
No? Well, check this one out anyway.
KEITH HERMAN can't help that he and his band are from Florida OR that he put out THREE - count 'em T H R E E - albums of AM mold / s/sw pop fluff about as memorable as the main event of Wrestlemania XI and packing a wallop comparable to an infirmed old man easing into a warm bath.
That said, even a blind clock finds a nut now and again and a broken pig is right at least twice a day, as our man KEITH is here dually, on a privately-issued single on presumably his own Twin Bull Records imprint.
Coming on at his most Common Core, TWILLEY/SEYMOUR/PEZBAND-esque, this pair 'a tunes would turn up a year or so later on KEITH's final LP, ('The Next Song Is...'), albeit in much more tepid/reworked form (with cover art featuring HERMAN resembling a centaur taking a long shit).
But don't hold that against him! Instead: enjoy!
AND...if you don't see KEITH...in a long, long while...he'll try to find you...at the extreme-center-left of the dial.
