From Bangor, the Doubt formed in 1978 and were active as a band for only one year. When the band split in 1979 the primary songwriters Paul Corken and Robert Scott recorded this 4 song EP with Fifth Columns drummer Adrian Maddox. The record was released on the bands own "Solo records" label in 1980 in an edition of 500 copies with reportedly 200 copies destroyed or lost.
